I'm Jenny. I'm a certified dog trainer and bring over a decade of experience to help you develop the relationship with your dog that you want.
I've worked at the Anti-Cruelty Society in Chicago (the city's oldest and largest animal shelter); at Petco as a customer adviser and head dog trainer; and built my own training business in Chicago, Pasadena, CA, Houston, TX. and now Colorado! In my free time, you can find me exploring the beautiful mountain trails with my daughter and my sometimes silly, always exuberant Bluetick Coonhound mix pup, Spark.

Positive reinforcement training works by using guidance and rewards, rather than punishment or harsh corrections, to teach your dog right from wrong. The key to this type of training is to determine what it is that motivates your dog, and then use that motivator as a reward upon correct performance.
Positive training produces dogs who are eager to please, excited about training, and quick to learn, instead of being fearful, resistant, or unpredictable. Training should be fun for both you and your dog! Positive reinforcement training will lead to a stronger, more lasting bond between you and your best friend.

Jenny is awesome! She was able to teach us how to house break and train our new dog in just a couple sessions. I was at my witt's end trying to house break our dog. He was having up to 10 accidents a day. It was horrible. We followed her directions as closely as we could and now he hardly ever has accidents. She showed us how to teach him sit, down, and stay too. After some reinforcement he knows those commands. She was a lifesaver for us!

I found Jenny on yelp. She is very kind and knows her stuff. We adopted a 1 yr old rescue Maltese with bipolar issues, lol. Very sweet most of the time grumpy and stubborn some of the times. It was starting to be an issue until we found Jenny. She trained us (which is usually the problem) on how to handle different situations.
